Logistics Services Policy

Effective Date: June 18, 2026

Logistics is a service provided by Fashion Formula Academy that assists clients with vendor order pickup, consolidation, packaging, and shipment of inventory sourced from the Los Angeles Fashion District. By submitting a logistics request, you agree to the following terms.


1. Service Overview

Logistics is designed for businesses that need assistance collecting inventory from Los Angeles Fashion District vendors and having those orders shipped to their location.

Services may include:

  • Vendor order pickup
  • Order consolidation
  • Packaging and shipment preparation
  • Shipment coordination
  • Live Sourcing order shipment
  • Inventory transportation within the Fashion District

Fashion Formula Academy is not a warehouse, fulfillment center, or storage facility.


2. Logistics Service Tiers

Live Sourcing Shipping & Handling

$20 per order

Includes:

  • Packaging
  • Shipment preparation
  • Shipping coordination

Shipping costs, insurance, and signature confirmation are billed separately.

Small Order Logistics

$60

Includes:

  • Up to 5 prepacks
  • Up to 2 vendor pickups

Standard Order Logistics

$125

Includes:

  • 6–20 prepacks
  • Up to 5 vendor pickups

Large Order Logistics

$250

Includes:

  • 21–50 prepacks
  • Up to 10 vendor pickups

Oversized Orders

Custom Quote

Applies to:

  • 51+ prepacks
  • Freight shipments
  • Palletized shipments
  • Multiple vehicle loads
  • Special handling requirements

3. Tier Adjustments

Clients are responsible for providing accurate order information.

If actual order volume exceeds the selected package, Fashion Formula Academy reserves the right to:

  • Upgrade the service tier
  • Issue an additional invoice
  • Require payment before pickup or shipment

Orders exceeding included vendor pickup limits may require a higher tier or custom quote.


4. Vendor Pickup Authorization

Clients must provide all information necessary to complete vendor pickups, including:

  • Vendor name
  • Order number
  • Invoice number (if available)
  • Pickup contact information
  • Any authorization required by the vendor

Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible if:

  • Vendors refuse pickup
  • Vendors require additional authorization
  • Vendors release incomplete orders
  • Vendors provide incorrect information

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are separate from logistics service fees.

Additional charges may include:

  • Shipping postage
  • Insurance
  • Signature confirmation
  • Expedited shipping
  • Freight charges
  • Carrier surcharges

All shipping charges must be paid before inventory is shipped.


6. Inventory Verification

Fashion Formula Academy does not inspect products for:

  • Quality
  • Fit
  • Construction
  • Defects
  • Manufacturing issues

Our role is limited to collecting, transporting, packaging, and shipping inventory.

Clients are responsible for reviewing all inventory upon receipt.


7. Missing, Incorrect, or Damaged Inventory

Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for:

  • Vendor shortages
  • Incorrect items supplied by vendors
  • Damaged merchandise received from vendors
  • Backordered items
  • Vendor substitutions

Any issues regarding merchandise must be resolved directly with the vendor.


8. Shipment Delays

Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Vendors
  • Carriers
  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Traffic conditions
  • Labor strikes
  • Government actions
  • Carrier service interruptions

Delivery estimates provided by carriers are not guaranteed.


9. Storage Policy

Fashion Formula Academy is not a storage facility.

Clients must remain responsive throughout the logistics process.

Inventory remaining unclaimed or unpaid may incur storage fees.

Storage Fees

  • $10 per day beginning 7 calendar days after notification of completed pickup or invoice issuance.

Inventory left unpaid or unclaimed for more than 30 days may be considered abandoned.


10. Communication Requirements

Clients are expected to respond to requests for information, approvals, invoices, and shipment confirmations in a timely manner.

If a client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 calendar days:

  • The project may be closed
  • Additional fees may apply to reopen the request
  • Storage fees may begin if inventory is being held

11. Cancellation Policy

Before Pickup

A logistics request may be canceled before pickup begins.

If work has not started:

  • Logistics fees may be refunded.

If pickup scheduling or coordination has already begun:

  • Administrative fees may be retained.

After Pickup

Once inventory has been collected from vendors:

  • Logistics fees become non-refundable.

The service has been performed regardless of whether the client chooses to proceed with shipping.


12. Refund Policy

Logistics fees are generally non-refundable after work has begun.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind
  • Vendor issues
  • Shipping delays
  • Product quality concerns
  • Incorrect purchasing decisions
  • Inventory shortages caused by vendors

Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis only if Fashion Formula Academy fails to perform the agreed upon logistics service.


13. International Logistics Policy

Fashion Formula Academy offers international shipping for eligible logistics clients. International shipments are subject to additional requirements, fees, and carrier restrictions.

International Shipping Availability

International shipping may be available to select countries and destinations based on carrier availability, import regulations, shipment size, and order value.

Fashion Formula Academy reserves the right to decline international shipments that cannot be serviced safely, legally, or economically.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information
  • Understanding import requirements in their country
  • Paying all applicable shipping charges
  • Paying customs duties and taxes
  • Paying brokerage fees
  • Paying import fees or government assessments

These charges are separate from Fashion Formula Academy’s logistics fees and are not included unless specifically stated.

Customs Duties and Taxes

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Customs fees
  • Value-added taxes (VAT)
  • Goods and services taxes (GST)
  • Brokerage fees
  • Other government-imposed charges

These fees are determined by the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the client.

Fashion Formula Academy does not collect, estimate, or guarantee customs-related charges.

Customs Delays

International shipments may experience delays due to:

  • Customs inspections
  • Import reviews
  • Government processing
  • Carrier delays
  • Local regulations

Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for customs processing times or delays beyond our control.

Refused Shipments

If a shipment is refused, abandoned, returned, or destroyed due to:

  • Unpaid duties or taxes
  • Import restrictions
  • Incorrect shipping information
  • Failure to claim the shipment
  • Customs-related issues

the client remains responsible for any resulting carrier fees, return shipping costs, storage fees, or disposal fees.

No refunds will be issued for logistics services already performed.

Restricted Items

Certain countries restrict or prohibit the importation of specific products.

Clients are responsible for verifying whether products can legally be imported into their destination country before requesting shipment.

Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for:

  • Seized shipments
  • Confiscated merchandise
  • Customs holds
  • Import restrictions
  • Government actions

Freight, Pallet, and Consolidated Shipping

For larger international orders, alternative shipping methods may be available, including:

  • Freight forwarding
  • Palletized shipments
  • Consolidated freight
  • Barrel shipping (where available)

These shipments may require custom quotes and additional documentation.

Insurance

Insurance is strongly recommended for international shipments.

If a client declines insurance, Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen shipments after they have been released to the carrier.

Limitation of Liability

Fashion Formula Academy’s responsibility ends once a shipment has been transferred to the selected carrier.

Fashion Formula Academy is not liable for:

  • Customs delays
  • Customs fees
  • Lost international shipments
  • Damaged international shipments
  • Import restrictions
  • Government actions
  • Carrier errors
  • Delivery delays outside our control

International Shipping Approval

Fashion Formula Academy reserves the right to review all international logistics requests and determine whether the shipment is appropriate for international transport.

Certain destinations, shipment sizes, or order types may require a custom quote before service can be approved.


14. Limitation of Liability

Fashion Formula Academy’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the logistics service itself.

Fashion Formula Academy is not liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Business interruption
  • Product defects
  • Vendor disputes
  • Inventory valuation
  • Consequential damages

15. Right to Refuse Service

Fashion Formula Academy reserves the right to refuse, pause, or terminate service if:

  • False information is provided
  • Required documentation is missing
  • Payment remains unpaid
  • Client behavior is abusive or inappropriate
  • Requests exceed service capabilities

16. Policy Acceptance

By submitting a Logistics Services request, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.
