What is Logistics Services?
Logistics Services helps businesses receive inventory from Los Angeles Fashion District vendors without traveling to Los Angeles themselves.
We pick up orders from participating vendors, consolidate them when applicable, and ship them directly to your business.
Do I have to use Vendor Placement to use Logistics Services?
No.
You may use Logistics Services if:
- You purchased directly from vendors on your own
- You used Vendor Placement
- You participated in Live Sourcing
What areas do you currently serve?
At this time, Logistics Services is available for inventory sourced through the Los Angeles Fashion District.
Additional logistics services for trade shows and special sourcing events may be added in the future.
How does the process work?
- Submit a Logistics Request.
- We review your order details.
- We confirm the appropriate logistics tier.
- You receive an invoice.
- We coordinate vendor pickups.
- Orders are consolidated and prepared for shipment.
- Tracking information is provided once shipped.
What information do you need to pick up my order?
We typically require:
- Any special pickup instructions
- Vendor name
- Order number or invoice number
- Pickup authorization (if required by the vendor)
- Vendor contact information
Do you inspect inventory?
No. We do not perform quality control inspections, garment measurements, fit reviews, or product testing.
Clients are responsible for reviewing inventory upon receipt and addressing any concerns directly with the vendor.
Can you pick up from multiple vendors?
Yes. The number of vendor pickups included depends on the logistics tier selected.
Orders exceeding the included pickup limits may require an upgraded tier or custom quote.
Do you consolidate multiple orders into one shipment?
Yes.
If you purchase from multiple vendors, we can combine eligible orders into as few shipments as possible to help simplify delivery.
Are shipping costs included?
No. Shipping costs are billed separately and may include:
- Expedited shipping requests
- Carrier postage
- Insurance
- Signature confirmation
Can I add insurance to my shipment?
Yes.
Insurance can be added upon request and will be billed separately.
Can I require a signature upon delivery?
Yes.
Signature confirmation is available upon request and will be billed separately.
How long does Logistics Services take?
Turnaround times vary based on:
- Vendor readiness
- Number of pickups
- Order size
- Shipping destination
Most orders are processed within a few business days after all inventory is ready for pickup.
What happens if a vendor is missing items from my order?
Fashion Formula Academy is not responsible for vendor shortages, substitutions, backorders, or incorrect merchandise.
Any inventory related concerns must be resolved directly with the vendor.
Do you offer storage?
No. Fashion Formula Academy is not a warehouse or storage facility.
Orders must be shipped promptly once logistics services are completed.
Storage fees may apply to inventory that remains unpaid or unclaimed.
Can I cancel my logistics request?
Yes, provided pickup activities have not already begun.
Once inventory has been picked up or logistics work has started, logistics fees become non-refundable.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available to many countries.
International clients are responsible for all shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and import requirements associated with their shipment.
Because international shipping can be expensive, Logistics Services is generally best suited for businesses placing larger wholesale orders.
If you are located outside the United States, we recommend contacting us before purchasing so we can discuss the most cost effective shipping options for your destination.

For larger international orders, alternative shipping methods such as freight forwarding, pallet shipments, consolidated freight, or barrel shipping may be available depending on destination and order volume.
