Welcome to The Gossip

Welcome to the Gossip! If you are seeing this you are officially a member of The Clique.

The Clique is a platform where you can socialize and collaborate with likeminded entrepreneurs. This is the place to find connections, ask questions and even vent during those difficult hurdles in business.

In the Gossip, this is where our everyone can create topics of discussion so that we can “GOSSIP” as the Clique. These gossip topics will be available to the entire group. Others can then comment on the topic. We welcome comments in the Gossip to keep the conversations going! If there is a topic in the Gossip that you would like to keep up with, you can subscribe to the topic in the upper right hand corner. Your subscriptions will then be under your profile in Gossip. However, if you would like to have a more intimate conversation without the entire group, you have your whiteboard.

Whiteboard is where you can create your own posts that are only seen on your profile. These posts can be questions you need answered, suggestions, or this is where you can vent! Post a casting call if needed to find others to collaborate with. Others can comment on your whiteboard posts to help you out or relate/offer encouragement to your venting sessions. For your first whiteboard post, we suggest writing a quick bio. This can be about you, your business or both. Introduce yourself to everyone. Check out our whiteboard for an example.

As you navigate around The Clique, you may meet other entrepreneurs that you can relate to and collaborate with. Simply send them a friend request so that you can connect! Friend requests can be accepted or rejected, but once rejected that person cannot send you a request again. No spamming here! You can also privately message one another or either with our professors.

If you prefer to be a wallflower and not receive friend requests, under settings > privacy, you can set your profile to “only me”. Just keep in mind no one will be able to send you friend requests. Or, you can set to “friends” so that way anyone you send friend requests to will be the only ones able to see your profile. If your profile is public, no one will be able to see your personal information such as your email. The only information available on a public profile is your Whiteboard, any comments you make in the Gossip, your friends list, and the groups you are apart of.

Currently, the only group available is The Clique. In the future we may add additional groups such as The Designers Clique or The Beauty Clique, etc. That way you can connect with individuals specifically in your industry.
