A habit tracker is the best tool to be sure you remain consistent. For each goal, it is great to maintain a habit tracker.
This free habit tracker can either be used as a monthly template or weekly.
For weekly:
- Write down your goal for the week. What is it that you would like to achieve that week?
- Under habit, write down all the necessary habits needed to achieve the above goal. Then, each day, check of the day as you achieve the habit for the day until you get to the end of the week. Some habits may not require daily work. Just “X” out that day or shade it in so you know to skip the day.
- Plan of attack will be similar to the habits above. What it is that you must do in order to achieve the stated goal?
- Possible Road Blocks. What may prevent you or give you a hard time of achieving your goal?
- Reflection. At the end of the week, reflect on how you did for the week. Did you achieve your goal for the week? Do you have areas of improvement? Do you just need to try again next week?
For monthly.
- Write down your goal for the week. What is it that you would like to achieve for the month?
- Under habit, use each line for week 1, week 2, etc. Then each day as you complete your habit for that goal check of the day as complete. Some habits may not require daily work. Just “X” out that day or shade it in so you know to skip the day. Once week 1 is complete, move on to week 2 and try to complete the same thing or better.
- Plan of attack. This is where you can write your habits for the month. This is basically what you will be doing during week 1, week 2, etc.
- Possible Road Blocks. What may prevent you or give you a hard time of achieving your goal?
- Reflection. At the end of the month, reflect on how you did for the month. Did you achieve your goal for the month? Do you have areas of improvement? Do you just need to try again next month?
Example:
- Goal = Reach 1M Followers on Social Media
- Weekly Habits = New Post Daily, 3 New Stories Daily, 2 New Reels per week, 1 IGTV, Comment on 10 posts per day
- Plan of Attack = Consistently post daily, put up as many reels as I can per week, get into IGTV and eventually live, and stay engaged.
- Possible Road Blocks = Time! Finding the time to keep up with it and remaining consistent.
- Reflection = At the end of the week I will write in what I hit and what I missed; even what I learned.
Use as many habit trackers as needed.
